Angela

Angela is a 200hr Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor, Certified Meditation Facilitator, and Certified Yoga Instructor for Children with Special Needs.  Angela took her first yoga class in 2001 while she was living and travelling in Japan.  She immediately felt a deep connection to the practice and philosophy of yoga.  Over the years she has fallen in love with the healing properties of yoga and meditation and loves to share this aspect of the practice.

Her teachings are intuitive and a synergistic blend of alignment principles and heart-centered themes, encouraging students to explore their physical, emotional, and energetic body. Angela believes that time on the mat is a sacred time to create space in our mind, body and heart for the work we are about to do - which includes shifting out of the thinking state into a more feeling and listening state.

As a parent of a child with Cerebral Palsy, Angela is also passionate about sharing yoga and mindfulness with children with different abilities, and their parents and caregivers.  It is important for her to ensure yoga is inclusive and accessible for every body and all abilities.

When Angela isn’t on her mat she loves to spend time with her family, travel, garden, and be in nature.
