Do you have persistent or recurrent pain or tension patterns?
You’re invited to an experiential evening:
- Cultivating awareness of what is contributing to your body expressing pain and tension (these may have been under the level of awareness)
- Discussing the role of the autonomic nervous system and learning ways to effect it to bring a greater sense of ease, curiosity and safety in your body
- Create freedom of movement patterns in your body
Harness the power of awareness to make shifts that will significantly affect how you feel.
- Notice when you’re not feeling good -what is the state of your mind, your body your emotions (notice judgements and beliefs)
- Enhance your interoception (the felt sense within you)
- Explore granular movements: notice bracing and holding patterns and any tendency to push through sensations of pain, tension and discomfort
- Develop a relationship of compassion with your body
- PAUSE to feel connection between your parts as you move and breathe
- Grow awareness of the positive shifts

Melanie Metrow is a Physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience. She is also a biodynamic cranial sacral therapist with a passion for yoga and a holistic approach. She completed her 225 YTT in 2016. She has done numerous additional yoga courses and is currently completing her 800+ hour certification to become a Yoga Therapist.

Yoga Nidra with Hot Stones - 4 week fall series
You are invited to this 4 week series of Yoga Nidra with Margaret Hogan.
This series is the perfect way to bring balance to your fall. Honour the season and start to wind down, balance and rest.
Fridays 6:30-7:30pm
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation, also referred to as "yogic sleep" or "effortless relaxation". It takes us into a state of harmonious, deep relaxation where we can be healed, restored, and awakened. Anyone can practice, especially those who struggle to let go and would like to slow down, switch-off, and rest.
Take this time to lie down on your mat, let go of the stress of the week and start the weekend feeling renewed. This class includes the use of hot stones for a truly restorative experience.
$80.00 + tax for all four.
